The Hide

Glamping at its best. A Hideaway from the stresses and strains of that hamster wheel we call life.

The Hide isn’t named as such just because it’s a secret escape from the big old world however, there is also the surroundings to consider, as you wake to the birds chirping and Bees buzzing..

 An Osprey flying over, a curlew singing that distinctive song, a cuckoo loudly showing off in the distance before the Owls send you off at night.

It is truly amazing what a 14” long and 7” wide hide can fit in it. A comfy bed, tried and tested by me many times. A hot shower and flushing loo may be foreign to most bird Hides, but these things offer this Hide a touch of true luxury.

Everything and anything required fits in here (even if on a slightly smaller scale to a ‘real’ house). It offers a fridge, a microwave that doubles as an oven, a hob, a set of draws, a mirror, utensils, cutlery and crockery to go with. Anything I’ve missed just ask, if I have it you may use it. 

Perhaps the most important for many – YES, there is Mi-Fi. But alas for those T.V. addicts out there, there is in no Television.

There are two outside seats and a table and a fire-pit that doubles as charcoal BBQ.

A simple continental breakfast is supplied – Cereal selection, Juice, Fresh Milk, Fresh Fruit, Yogurt and tined fruits.
