About Waterside House B&B
Waterside House is a delightful bed and breakfast in a fantastic location on the edge of Esthwaite Water and the outskirts of the historic village of Hawkshead. A perfect place to stay for a peaceful break in the English Lake District.

- Two minute walk to the edge of Esthwaite Water where, at the right time of year, you can observe the resident Ospreys diving for fish.

This is our 3rd visit here at Waterside and as always, we are so well looked after. This time we have stayed for 7 days and will be sad to leave tomorrow. Vanessa ' s breakfasts are amazing and so much choice, we have never had better anywhere. We have stayed in different rooms at different times here and they are always beautifully well kept and spotless.
Vanessa is always there to help with anything you need and is such a lovely lady. 5 minutes walk into Hawkshead and this area is so central for Coniston, Ambleside, Grasmere and even Keswick just a short drive away. Lots of great walks to do too. We highly recommend this beautiful spot and will definitely be back for a 4th visit and more.
