Tariff

All tariffs are per room, per night, for two people sharing, with breakfast.

Two rooms have sofa beds for extra adults or children. Please see below for tariffs.

If you are looking for a last minute 1 night only stay or a 1 night only stay in the low season please contact me direct it may be possible.

Children sharing with two adults:
Age 0-3 no charge, Age 4-10 £26.00 for first night 2nd night free, Age 11-17 first night £36.00 2nd night free.
Extra adults: £36.00 per night.
Please note if you are wanting to book children or extra adults you will need to get in touch direct, either via the enquiry button or by texting or phoning.

The best way to contact me other than the on-line system is by text messaging. I will constantly check my phone throughout the day and respond ASAP. I appreciate, for many, this is not as convenient as speaking to me in person but there are 2 main reasons why…

I am often cleaning and preparing rooms for guests. I no-longer rush to the phone because of the amount of cold calling. It slows me down and infuriates me. I am sure many will sympathise with this as we all must deal with this arrogant group of people. If not cleaning I am more than likely on a school run or club of some kind.

I won’t answer a call that says ‘withheld’ or ‘unknown’ because this system is also used by cold callers. This is a shame because I know a lot of people have withheld their numbers because of the cold-callers, I can only apologize, we have the same headache.

If you would rather speak to me, I will of course phone back if you leave a message with your request. Or if I happen to be standing at the phone I will wait until your message begins and pick up once I know it is a genuine enquiry.

Other than messaging of course email is the next best contact medium. watersidehawkshead@outlook.com

I check emails once a day during the busy season, which means I should respond the day you send it, unless it is an evening email. From abroad you are better off emailing as, once again, I don’t answer ‘international’ calls. As we know, many cold calling centres are across the waters.

I emailed Vanessa on the off chance there was availability. As luck would have it, she had a cancellation, and offered us the room.

I only tried here after reading all the reviews. It was that good, I decided to sign up and leave a review. A very warm welcome, nothing too much trouble, very clean room in a lovely and peaceful part of the lakes.

It was everything we could of wanted, Vanessa is a '1 off', lovely lady who will do her upmost to ensure you have a great stay. We will 100% be coming back here!
